Original GSC Salmson delivered to Lionel Lippman in Paris late 1926 /early 1927

Invoiced from Petit’s  (  The Salmson 'works racing ' shop dated ) 1927

This car is an original Service De Course  ‘San Sebastian’. twin plugged engined  race car.  Supplied with  Perrot- Pigneau front axle / four speed gearbox   

Fitted with a  Cozette blower.

  The Body is a  Staggered  2 Seater.  Rebuilt from original works drawings

History

Original competition result from 1926 / 1927 are  =  Owner/ driver =   Lionel Lippman.

Throughout the late 1970's 80's  and 90s the car was campaigned in Europe running at many historic events such as Monthery.

Competition use over the last few year has been limited to the U.K . Racing, sprinting and hill climbing with the V.S.CC. and  B.R.D.C.

 This car is eligible for full FIA /FIVA  papers which have been applied for.

and is eligible for all  major European events including Goodwood,

This Salmson with its Cozette blower, un-silenced exhausted and lack of cycle wings is great fun do drive on the country lanes in the UK.
